Wild Divers Oyster Co. takes pride in catching and providing the best quality wild caught oysters on the bay. The oysters are harvested out of the Middle Region of the Chesapeake Bay by an underwater scuba diver. Equipped with a constant supply of air from the surface, along with hot water generated by the engine and pumped into the diver’s wet suit the diver is able to endure the freezing winter waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Using this method allows the diver to hand select only the best quality oyster, while not disturbing the surrounding ecosystem. The oysters are then hand sorted, cleaned and delivered daily for peak freshness.
